Fabric & GSM

Suggested main fabric: 100% polyester interlock, approximately 200 GSM, with a proposed weight range of 180–220 GSM. This smooth knitted fabric provides a suitable surface for sublimated pinstripes, lettering, and detailed colour combinations.

Alternative fabric: polyester birdseye or sports mesh, approximately 150–180 GSM, for a more open-textured jersey construction.

GSM stands for grams per square metre and indicates fabric weight. Final fabric composition, GSM, texture, stretch, and any moisture-management finish are confirmed with the selected sample before production.

Sublimation Printing

The proposed design uses dye-sublimation printing on compatible polyester fabric. Heat transfers the dye into the fibres, creating a flat printed finish.

The pinstripes, navy panels, orange accents, sleeve bands, team lettering, and player numbers can all be incorporated into the sublimation artwork. Fabric panels are printed before cutting and sewing, with artwork positioned to suit the approved garment pattern.

Custom colours, names, numbers, and logos can be arranged across the front, back, and sleeves. Colour references and artwork placement are approved before production.

Stitching & Construction

Proposed garment construction includes:

• Overlocked internal shoulder, armhole, and side seams.
• Securely attached round neckband with suitable stretch and recovery.
• Twin-needle or coverstitched sleeve and bottom hems.
• Matching thread colours for a coordinated finish.
• Careful alignment of printed panels during assembly.
• Neatly finished curved hem.

Final seam construction and neckband material follow the approved fabric and production sample.
